Beautiful location , Saw snow monkeys munching on chestnuts on the street just around the corner from the hotel so cool, if you have time check out the Wasabi farm down the valley it is very interesting, l loved our time in this part of our Japan tour

The French restaurant food was very good, and service was excellent. The staff even recognised me the next day at breakfast. The buffet restaurant staff was also very helpful.

Nice onsen and located way out in the woods and nestled in the Northern Alps. Car is basically required to get around anywhere.
